ugh, tonight, half a dozen teenagers came in, and together wanted 9 bucks in penny candies. of course they all wanted different kinds. that's 900 candies! and i had other customers.

i got one page of my book read during the whole course of the night. and i missed the canada day fireworks. grr.

but at least i made it through my first week of work. i don't know how i did it, but now i have to figure out how to make it through the next eight weeks. seven if i have enough money by then.

i got to talk to lisa-marie on the phone for the first time in a few weeks. we have so much to catch up on. but i had to work, then she had to work. but tomorrow, we're both off so we're going to take advantage of that.

nicole dropped by the store for a while too, which makes that the third time i got to see her in the past week. all visits to the store of course, seeing as our work shifts alternate. she wants me to go and visit her tomorrow, so i'll see what i can do. two days off, what to do?!?! haha.

i know what, right now i'm going to sleep. or so i hope.
